Bűlent Duagi

Iata ca postez in sfarsit ideea-mi cu care am castigat la “Extraordinary Ideas Contest”, de la TEDx Bucharest, care urma sa devina cel mai tare eveniment-conferinta de o zi, din viata mea.

Povestea ideii pe scurt:
Acum vreo doi ani am fost la targul de carte Gaudeamus, de unde am cumparat carti de vreo 2 milioane si ceva de lei. Cand am ajuns acasa am aflat ca jumatate din cartile pe care le cumparasem eu mandru de la Gaudeamus erau deja detinute de catre unii dintre prieteni mei, cei mai cititori din fire.
Bineinteles, m-am ofticat un pic si de aici a reiesit ideea Open Book Club.

The “Open Book Club” idea is based on the combination of the following concepts: people who like to read a lot, sharing and new web technologies. It starts from the thought that people who like to read a lot usually have lots of interesting books. Sharing them in circles of acquaintances offers the benefit of accessing much more interesting printed information with no additional costs. The new web technologies, Google Docs for example, facilitate the process, each member of the club posting their book list and availability in a shared space. Easy to create and to maintain, the Open Book Club can be adopted in many different groups, helping to spread the quality books (usually expensive for the average reader). An implementation of the Open Book Club, in my circle of friends who love reading, gathered 12 members who shared around 500 good books. Groups that implement the Open Book Club can enhance the sharing of books and ideas by holding occasional meetings to discuss great books they all read.

Asta a fost descrierea mai fancy. Descrierea pe romaneste:
Impartasesti lista cartilor interesante pe care le ai in biblioteca cu prietenii tai, faceti schimb de carti cand doriti/puteti, eventual discutati pe marginea cartilor citite la un ceai :D
Este o idee super simpla si care poate fi adoptata de orice grup de prieteni cu ceva inclinare spre lectura.
Stiu de vreo 4-5 grupuri de prieteni care au adoptat-o si le e bine, daca va place, ganditi-va daca va poate ajuta cumva si ziceti mai departe.
